These not-so-fancy but well-worth-sharing habits might save your day and bring back that productive person in you.

1. Have a proper morning routine

This is the most common thing you will find in every successful person you aspire to be like, yet not many follow it, and I cannot stretch the importance of this enough.

A good morning routine helps you prepare for the challenges that the day has to offer.

This trains your subconscious to achieve all of the goals you set for yourself.

Many people think that they work better at night, but believe me, most of the people who think that they are night owls are just pretending to work. The fact is that they never usually get work done at night.

“Each morning we are born again. What we do today is what matters most.” — Buddha

2. Meditation can turn you into a superhuman

As your body requires some sort of physical exercise to stay fit, meditation is the equivalent for your brain.

The long-term benefits of meditating are huge, and it will transform you into a different person.

You will be more focused, you will have a way better attention span, and you will start to feel very mindful of things.

"When meditation is mastered, the mind is unwavering like the flame of a candle in a windless place."

3. Get a good work-out

You should do any sort of physical workout to keep your body in shape.

Being in your best physical shape can provide you with many benefits in life

You will be more confident when you have a well-built build shape.

It sets in the subconscious that if a man has a well-built body, he is disciplined in other aspects of his life too.

A great figure or physique is nice, but it’s the self-confidence that comes with it that makes someone really sexy.

4. Maintain a journal

Keeping a journal every morning will provide you with clarity in your mind.

Because a journal is where you pour all of your thoughts, intending to get some meaning out of them and perspective on life.

It could be a great guide where you track all your progress and mistakes to work on yourself, rectify your mistakes, and learn from them.

Writing is medicine. It is an appropriate antidote to injury. It is an appropriate companion for any difficult change.

5. Have a healthy diet

The food you eat will be either heaven or hell for your body. It is up to you to decide whether you want to fill your body with healthy food or garbage.

Always try to have a decent amount of protein evenly distributed throughout the day to help you maintain a muscular, rounded shape all year.

Avoid eating oily junk that fills your body with unhealthy fat because obesity is the cause of a major number of diseases that we get with age.

Clean eating is a must for a healthy body and mind. Once you start eating clean and healthy food, you will see some amazing changes in your body.

“You are what you eat, so don’t be fast, cheap, easy, or fake.”

6. Avoid multitasking

Multitasking can reduce your work efficiency and destroy your attention span.

When you do multiple tasks at a time, you start to pay less attention to things, which will be very bad for your mental health in the long run.

The person who claims to be able to do multiple tasks at once will almost certainly fail at all of them. So, it is ideal to focus on one thing at a time.

Focus is a weapon that sharpens with practice but can be destroyed with a lack of mindfulness.

7. Stay hydrated

A major portion of the human body consists of water, so, naturally, a water deficiency might cause damage to the body.

Your brain gets affected by the lack of water and can suffer decreases, which can leave some long-term effects such as short-term memory loss, which can affect your cognitive thinking abilities as well.

When you work out, water helps in your muscle recovery and growth. You get the point.

Being hydrated is a must, and we are at the point where some lazy people delay drinking even a glass of water.

Pro-tip: Keep a water bottle near you at all times to stay hydrated throughout the day.

8. Sleep well

To be honest, I was the sort of guy who used to think that Batman’s approach to sleep was way too cool to be real. How cool would it be to work for 72 hours without sleep? And boy, was I wrong!

Sleep is one of the most important factors for a human body to function. Never try to neglect the sleep period because it can be the cause of many diseases.

You can start to lose focus, and you will suffer from terrible memory loss. It will be a nightmare for you to remember someone’s name or some of the major things that once were a piece of cake for you to recall.

“The best pre-workout for the next day is a good night’s sleep.”

Conclusion:

These were some of the most important fundamental habits that bring about change on an identity level.

This may help you be more productive than ever.

These might look like very subtle things, but believe me, habits like these will change you into a completely different man.
